Thinking of you, Etta James.

(this song always brings me to tears)
R.I.P. Etta, you are such an inspiration and brought so much joy!

Snow day in Seattle!

It rarely snows in Seattle but the past few days seem to be making up for that fact. Like a true Seattleite, I won't let the weather stop me from enjoying my day! Plus, we've been trying to hide from the mess outside for a few days already, and it doesn't seem to slowing down any, so we decided to run to a few stores and stretch our legs with a little walking. It turned out to be an eventful day! Then, we came home and let the puppy out to play in the snow for a little bit too.

Pretty Breakfast...

One of these days I'd love to just throw my hair up in a scarf throw on the Sound of Music soundtrack and enjoy a beautiful and yummy breakfast...but I'm such a lazy grouch that probably would never happen... : )

Late night coffee date?

If someone called me up for a coffee date right now, I'd totally want to wear this!

Obsessed with this song and video

Hope everyone's holiday weas amazing. Not gonna lie, I'm not the biggest Christmas music (especially after years of working in retail) so I'm excited to hear real music again! Lately, I've been listening to this song on repeat, this viedo is so pretty, and creepy. It's about a love between two sisters, apparently it's based off Shirley Jackson's novel "We Have Always Lived in a Castle." I need to read it after seeing this video! I love Tennis, I got to see them last summer and were great live! I can't wait for their new album the Patrick Carney helped produce. Check out this song if you haven't already! I'm sure you'll love it!

I have a love for lists

I can't explain how much I love making to do lists. I live just to cross them off. So when I came upon Johnny Cash's to do list, I was swooning! Number 2 and 3 are my favorite!
